I've been speaking to Carol Wentworth the representative of Byte communications the PR firm Wikia is employing. She has two staff members that could handle the emailing to the editors of the journals we have listed. I've tracked down website addresses for many of them, although some of these will be out of date. If anyone can help clean up the list that would be good. I would also like to take a proposed text across so I can discuss this with Gil and the team at Harvard at the conference next week. Any ideas for what to say are welcomeLifeartist 20:43, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

Its basically a good idea. I do worry though that the editors are a slightly conservative bunch who will think they know best and not take kindly to our idea. Especially as one of the things we are against is the restrictive nature of journal subscription. Still we should go ahead with it. We should start an article/text to give to the Editors on the Attracting New Contributors main article (link from To Do Portal) Mostly Zen Baby tao (talk) 21:08, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
Also, add it to the To Do list for attracting new contributors to get this list of journals emails tidied up :)
