Personality: Self concept · Personality testing · Theories · Mind-body problem
INFP (Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Perceiving) is one of the sixteen personality types based on the work of C.G. Jung. The description of the various types have been developed within a number of personality type systems, each having their own measuring tools' the best known of which are the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the Keirsey Temperament Sorter and Socionics.
Referring to Keirsey, INFPs belong to the temperament of the idealists and are called Healer.
In Socionics, INFps belong to the club of the Humanitarians, the beta Quadra and are named "Lyricist". Examples are Ray Bradbury and Sergei Yesenin. Another notation for INFp is IEI (which is an acronym for Intuitive-Ethical Intratim, referring to the cognitive functions).
