What is Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)?


SFBT is the clinical application of SF principles, which can be defined as:-

The establishment of what a “preferred future” might be.

The identification of ways in which this is already happening.

SF practice in general occurs in an increasingly wide range of contents including health, social services, education, and organizational work. It’s also becoming increasingly recognised as a benchmark of good practice by the Department of Health and other UK Governmental Bodies.
