Sensory neglect or perceptual neglect (including: auditory neglect, visual neglect and spatial neglect) is an impaired ability to perceive objects, so individuals do not attend to visual, auditory, or sensory stimuli coming from one side of the body. This may be caused by brain damage due to various causes.
